Washington Recovery Helpline

For 24-hour emotional support and referrals, contact the Washington Recovery Help Line at 1-866-789-1511. Services include: 

  • 24/hour Crisis Support

  • Mental Health Treatment

  • Substance Use Treatment 

  • Problem Gambling Treatment

Regional Crisis Lines

You may call your local county crisis line to request assistance for you or a family member 24 hours per day, 365 days per year. Crisis lines are available for ALL Washingtonians regardless of insurance status or income level. Use the button to the left to find your local crisis line.

The National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) in Washington State offers a list of national and state resources. Resources include:

National Suicide Prevention Lifeline

The Lifeline offers 24/7, free and confidential support for people in distress. Call 1-800-273-8255 for help. Services include:

SAMHSA National Helpline

The Substance Use and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA) helpline is a free, confidential, 24/7 treatment referal and information service for individuals and families facing mental and/or substance use disorders.

The National American Indian and Alaska Native MTTC offers training and resources for American Indian and Alaska Native mental health.

The LGBT National Help Center offers numerous resources for LGBTQ+ individuals. Resources include:
